[EN] Congratulations 2011 Microsoft MVP!

Well, today we have 1 April – and on this day I’ve made some people crazy with success, telling them some stupid or non real stories and jokes, but today I saw in my mail box this message:

Congratulations! We are pleased to present you with the 2011 Microsoft® MVP Award! This award is given to exceptional technical
community leaders who actively share their high quality, real world expertise with others. We appreciate your outstanding contributions in Internet Explorer technical communities during the past year.

Seems that this is not a joke – I logged in to the MVP page with success and what is more interesting is this post: http://belead.wordpress.com/2011/04/01/microsoft-mvp-award-april-2011-awards/ .

What is a Microsoft MVP ? You can find the answer for example on Wikipedia (cite below):

The Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) is the most prestigious award presented by Microsoft for the employees or individuals or consultants working outside Microsoft. Microsoft considers MVPs to be community leaders from around the world who have been awarded for voluntarily providing expertise towards communities supporting Microsoft products or technologies. An MVP is awarded for contributions over the past year, in other words a 2011 MVP is awarded for their work in 2010.

This nomination makes me to work harder and to greater sharing of knowledge with others.
